Get to Know HRDF
HRDF stands for Human Resources Development Fund. It is an agency under the Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia. HRDF are governed by the Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad Act 2001 (PSMB Act 2001).
Upon its establishment, the agency intends to develop quality human capital and workforce. It is very essential in making Malaysia as country with high income economy based on knowledge and innovation. In light with their vision, it provides training and up-skilling interventions to key industries in Malaysia.
HRDF Training Provider
HRDF Training Provider signifies the organization or company that represents as the Training Vendor to HRDF Registered Employers. As a whole, the claims can only be made by HRDF registered employers that participated in the trainings conducted by the HRDF Registered Training Provider.
Employers can identify and decide their own training needs and participate in the training programs that suit the needs of the company. In addition, the training can be organized as on-the-job, off-the-job or the combination of both as long as it is in line with the requirements of the organization.
SBL and SBL-Khas Scheme
HRDF provides several schemes in order to assist employer to retrain and upgrade their employees in line with their operational and business requirements. Under the employer grant scheme, there are Skim Bantuan Latihan (SBL) and Skim Bantuan Latihan Khas. In Leadway Consultancy (M) Sdn Bhd, we provide trainings under these schemes.
By using these schemes, the employers do not have to pay for the training fees to the training provider in order to minimize the employees’ burden. HRDF will cover the claimable costs including the meal allowance, daily allowance, consumable training materials, hotel rental package, training rental package and flight ticket or transportation.
