Perak Entrepreneur and Skills Development Centre (PESDC) is an institution that have been developed in Mac 1993. It is initiated by Federal government, Perak State Government and Perak’s manufacturer. The objective of PESDC is to provide a total learning solution for the industries and acts as a platform to facilitate the promotion of Technical Skill and Management Skills for occupational competence.
PESDC offers various vocational courses through collaboration with the Department of Skills Development (JPK) formerly known as the National Vocational Training Council (MLVK) of the government body that spearheaded vocational training in the country. The target group of this institution is focused on SPM/PMR holder students and the tuition fee is fully funded
The PESDC training complex is a campus-shaped center and its workshops are equipped with the latest equipment. It is located on 10 acres of land in Pusing, Perak, just 15 km from Ipoh. The Skill Centre is supported by the experienced and qualifiedl trainers and staffs from various disciplines.
COURSES OFFERED
PESDC offers Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) courses. Courses are processed by MLVK with the aim of providing trainees with practical skills and hand skills in various fields of vocational engineering.
Among the courses offered are: –

- Mechanical Technology Manufacturing – Polymer / Plastic
- General & Cnc Engineering Technology
- Electronic Technology
- Mechatronic Technology
- Air & Surface Technology Technology
- Printing Technology
- Welding Technology
- Computer System Technology
These courses are divided into several levels and each level takes 12 months. Upon completion of Phase 1 & 2, the trainees are awarded the SKM Certificate and are recognized as technicians. The trainees who have completed Phase 2 will be awarded SKM Credits and eligible to continue training from stage 3 to Phase 5.
