Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) was developed under the Human Resources Development Act 1992 (recently known as the Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad Act 2001). HRDF is recognized as a pooling fund that gathered from the combination of managers from the assembling and administration areas that have requisition on Human Resources Development. In a nutshell, HRDF was established with the reason to enhance the quality of human capital, regional and global competitiveness with the goal for Malaysia to accomplish a high-income nation by the Year 2020 in consideration with the 11th Malaysia Plan.

Objective:

To encourage employers to reequip and enhance their employees’ skills and ability parallel with their operative and business fulfilment.

How to Claim Training Grant?

Training Grant claims will be paid at the time employers submit the claim form after the training program had ended. The claim form can be obtained from HRDF officers or the website. Employers should make sure that the form is filled in completely and correctly to avoid any delays in processing claims. Relevant receipts and documents must be included and all copies of receipts or supporting documents must be certified by the employer.

The steps of the Claim Training Grant:

 

  • Click on ‘Application’ icon
  • Select from menu, click on ‘Claim’.
  • Choose either you want to ‘Submit Claims with Grants’ or ‘Submit Other Claims’.
  • Please fill in the online form together with the supporting document, then click on ‘Submit’ button.
  • Click here to start claim.

 

The claim form must be signed by an authorized officer from the employer’s side or any officer holding the post as specified in the claim form. Claims must be submitted upon completion of training and all costs have been paid. The claim form must be submitted before June 30 the next year.

Payment will not be made if the trainees did not attend the full training program. A trainee is deemed to have completed the training program if he had followed at least 75% of them and takes all the examinations/ tests, if needed.

Cheque or credit statement (E-disbursement) will be posted to employers. The statement for each calculation/payment will be given as well for reference.
