A new version of ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management Systems – Requirements was established which was the first time included the obligation of organisations to consider the role of organisational knowledge as a resource. This specification will mainly localize knowledge in quality management policies of more than millions certified organisations worldwide (ISO, 2014a) and demand them to systematize consider all phases of the knowledge management cycle. There are also many other organizations which use the ISO 9001 standard to enhance their quality systems but do not seek certification and these, too, will increasingly consider the role of organizational knowledge.

We must closely monitor which products, information and specifications are involved in the production process based on ISO 9001:2015. We must also make sure that good products are produced during the production process.
