Introduction
Continuous Contractor Development (CCD) is a program developed by CIDB to enhance knowledge, skill and engagement of contractor in building activities.
Collection and Enforcement of CCD
CCD was officially launched and enforced in 1 January 2010 and it was announced to public since 2008. According to CIDB circular Bil. 2/2008, every contractor is required to collect CCD points.
Objective
- Encourage contractor to enhance knowledge and skill so that the expertise, professionalism and construction industry can be improved.
- Enhance knowledge and competence of contractors in various aspects of project management.
- Enhance interaction and networking among contractors by information and experience sharing.
- Enhance confident of community towards local contractors’ services.
