Last Saturday was a blessing day, Leadway is first time to organize CIDB Continuous Professional Development Program (CCD 10 points). This program is organized in CEO Room, Leadway Consultancy (M) Sdn Bhd, Ipoh, Perak. The training was started with registration of participants at 9.15am. Coffee, tea and Swiss roll were served as refreshment. The participants enjoyed the coffee and tea before trainer’s arrival. At 9.30am, master trainer Wayne Lee arrived and greeted the participants. Wayne Lee introduced his background and the participants took turns to introduced themselves also. After that, Wayne Lee divided participants into 3 groups by picking cards. All participants laughed while dividing the groups. Wayne Lee continued the session by asking why we need to learn project management. He showed videos how China can build 30 storey and 15 storey high rises in 14 days and 6 days. However, Malaysia takes years to complete this kind of project. Thus, we need to upskill face global challenges.

The training session is ended with the prizes and certificates (with CIDB’s support) presentation. In conclusion, participants gained the knowledge and skill of project management. Everyone enjoyed the training day and dismissed at 5.15pm. Leadway and participants look forward the coming training session – Finance for Engineering, OSHA Act, Corporate Governance, Project Management II and Construction Safety.
