Since in 1975, as a skills training institute, the PIE (Perak Institute of Electronic), Maxwell College have grown by leaps and bounds to be where they are today. Their commitment to excellence and quality in the field of education has earned them the full accreditation from the MQA (MALAYSIAN QUALIFICATIONS AGENCY). This accreditation can entitle their students to apply for PTPTN study loan. Its also has opened the door to their graduates make it easy to enter the public services. The college CEO was DR. Low Han Kooi.
