On July 17, 2024, the Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia, Kedah held a team-building event at Taiping Zoo and Night Safari, Taiping, Perak, organized by Leadway Consultancy (M) Sdn Bhd. The adventure began with a guided tour led by the knowledgeable zoo rangers. As the participants strolled through the area of the zoo, the rangers shared fascinating facts about the diverse range of animals. From the starts until the ends, each stop on the tour provided them with insights into the animal kingdom and the efforts being made to conserve these incredible species. The rangers’ passion and expertise not only educated them but also deepened their appreciation for wildlife and conservation efforts.
Next on the agenda was the animal feeding demonstration. This interactive session was a hit with the participants, as they got to witness the feeding habits and behaviours of various animals up close. Watching an Orangutan catch on its meal or a giraffe gracefully munch on leaves was a thrilling experience. The demonstration highlighted the importance of proper animal care and the specialize diets that keep these creatures healthy and active.
The excitement did not stop there. The participants were divided into teams for a treasure hunt that spanned the entire zoo. Equipped with clues, the participants raced against time to find the hidden answers and take picture with them. This activity was not just about speed but also about teamwork, problem-solving, and strategic thinking. It was incredible to see how each team member’s unique skills contributed to solving the clues and navigating the zoo. The treasure hunt fostered a spirit of collaboration and friendly competition, making it one of the most memorable parts of the day.
After the treasure hunt, the participants gathered for the award presentation. Prizes were given out based on the accumulative marks. The smiles and cheers during the award ceremony were a proof of joy and team spirit they experienced throughout the day. To cap off the event, the participants had a group photo session, capturing the essence of their adventure and the bonds they strengthened.
